These materials typically have the following characteristics:
High hardness and high wear resistance: The hardness of the precision stretching series tungsten carbide is very high, usually between 88.5-94.5 HRA, which allows them to withstand the high pressure and wear generated during the metal stretching process.
Good anti adhesion properties: During the stretching process, metal may adhere to the die, so the precision stretching series tungsten carbide usually have excellent anti adhesion properties, reducing the adhesion between the metal and the die surface and improving the quality of the stretched parts.
High strength and toughness: Precision stretching series tungsten carbide not only has high hardness, but also has certain strength and toughness, which can withstand the impact and vibration during the stretching process, reducing the fracture and damage of the die.
Excellent thermal stability: During the stretching process, the die generates heat due to friction, so the stretching series tungsten carbide needs to have excellent thermal stability, maintain the stability of the die size and shape, and avoid size changes caused by thermal expansion.
Good processing performance: In order to manufacture complex stretching die shapes,stretching series tungsten carbide should have good processing properties, such as easy grinding and electrical discharge machining (EDM). This product involves fields such as the dieing of new energy vehicle battery round and square shells, the dieing of cosmetic shells, the extrusion and stretching of insulation cup mirror thinning to 0.07mm, the dieing of hexagonal bars, seamless steel pipe special-shaped tubes, etc.
